Politmus member, Litmo, added a BBC report that draws comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam.
Over time, the story suggests, the Johnson administration continually increased troop strength in Vietnam and tried to rely on the South Vietnam government to win the war.
Neither move was successful and, yet, these are both moves President Bush is planning for Iraq.
Is this what the U.S. is facing in Iraq? Or, does history not repeat itself... exactly?
Or is this a biased BBC report?
Tell us what you think at Politmus.
