Many Politmus members are starting to believe that the Iraq war is getting bogged down in bureaucracy... not on the battlefield.
The phrase "War by Committee" has come up more often. And, the media, according to these members, aren't doing a good job pointing this out.

Tick... Tick... Tick...
Politmus member Lone Ranger has politmused a story about the Doomsday clock.
What's a Doomsday clock? Apparently, a group of scientists (who must be all caught up on their research work) try to calculate when the world will come to an end.
Sounds like a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Due to nuclear proliferation and climate change, the scientists have moved the clock back... meaning the world will end a little sooner than expected.
What's your take on the Doomsday Clock. Go to Politmus and tell us what you think.
But, hurry. Time is running out.

Vietnam, the Sequel
Politmus member, Litmo, added a BBC report that draws comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam.
Over time, the story suggests, the Johnson administration continually increased troop strength in Vietnam and tried to rely on the South Vietnam government to win the war.
Neither move was successful and, yet, these are both moves President Bush is planning for Iraq.
Is this what the U.S. is facing in Iraq? Or, does history not repeat itself... exactly?
Or is this a biased BBC report?

Chavez, Airstrikes, and Jersey
Those are just some of the topics politmused in one week.
Politmus members are looking at Chavez's nationalization of several industries in Venezuela. Another topic that's drawing interest from members is the Somalia airstrikes.
And, leave it to the Lone Ranger to find a little humor in possible gas attacks. According to LR, the mystery odor that enveloped New York City was just.... New Jersey.
If you'd like to comment on these stories--especially if your a proud New Jersey resident, head over to Politmus.

Sacred Cows Make Tasty Politmus Topics
Is black victimization at the root of problems within the black community?
That's what HUD secretary Alphonzo Jackson said recently.
He told NewsMax, "They [black leaders] have created an industry," Jackson, who is black, told NewsMax. "If we don't become victims, they have no income. They have no podium."
Politmus members have seized on this statement and are debating it now.
Have an opinion? Think the media isn't telling the truth or is biased?
Politmus is your place.
